Two Special Visitors!
Mason and Becky joined Nightingale class to enhance their Science and PSHE learning. The children re-capped some Year 1 objectives such as animals and omnivores, herbivores and carnivores. Then, we moved onto some Year 2 objectives such as animal habitats, what humans and animals need to survive and what they eat. We went beyond our Science curriculum by thinking about what a pet needs. We also learnt about how to hold a rabbit and how to care for one. The children were ever so compassionate and really took care of our bunnies in school. When it was wet play at lunchtime, they all decided together they would have a calm, colouring session so they didn’t disturb/scare the rabbits. Well done Nightingale, you’re all so thoughtful and lovely.
