Arts Ambassadors

 

 

Our Artsmark Ambassadors are charged with a mission: to make the arts at Colsterworth the best it can possibly be!  We are passionate about delivering a creative and inspiring curriculum for our pupils. Our school commitment to the arts is encapsulated by our Artsmark journey where we monitor and review our arts provision. This helps to ensure we are striving for excellence (quality provision 1) and all children have the opportunity for personal progression. (quality principle 6)

 

What are the arts?

  • Visual arts – drawing, painting, sculpture, collage
  • Performing arts – drama, dance, music, singing
  • Digital arts – photography, video, animation

 

What does an Artsmark Ambassador do?

  • Attend meetings
  • Make suggestions to improve our learning in the arts
  • Make decisions about what happens
  • Feedback to class
  • Be objective, which means reporting all the ideas from your class not just the ones you agree with
  • Lead tasks and small projects within school and the community
