Romans come to life at Peterborough Museum

4H had a fantastic time at the museum learning more about Roman artefacts and Roman medicine. We didn't realise that Castor outside Peterborough was a Roman settlement with a palace. We had fun going to a roman market spending Roman money on ingredients for a banquet. We loved making masks, some made beautiful ones and others made grotesque faces. We handled artefacts and loved looking at the exhibits and reading more about their lives.
