Wonders of the World

Leopard Class launched the summer term with an inspiring and memorable assembly themed around their new topic, Creative Champions. Drawing inspiration from national treasures like Sir David Attenborough and author Lucy Brandt, creator of Leonora Bolt, the children took us on a journey across the globe — visiting Borneo, the Great Barrier Reef, Antarctica, and Kenya.

Through drama, song, and storytelling, the children explored the wonders of these incredible locations while tackling important eco dilemmas facing our planet. They presented thoughtful solutions and shared powerful messages about caring for the environment.

Throughout the performance, our school’s Christian Values of friendship, courage, and hope were woven beautifully into the story. The children showed friendship by supporting one another on their global missions, demonstrated courage in speaking and performing so confidently, and shared a message of hope for a brighter, more sustainable future.

Leopard Class impressed everyone with their creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm — a fantastic start to the term!
