This significant achievement underscores our dedication to excellence and innovation in arts education. The Gold Artsmark Award recognizes schools that excel in delivering high-quality arts and cultural education. It celebrates our ongoing efforts to nurture creativity, support talent, and foster a vibrant arts culture within our school community. This award is a testament to the hard work and collaboration of our staff, pupils, and the broader community.
Feedback from the Arts Council highlights our robust commitment to arts and culture, noting its measurable impact on both staff and pupils. The council commended our consistent provision of arts and cultural experiences through collaborations with local and national organizations, both within and outside the classroom. They particularly praised our initiatives with the Royal Opera House, the Colsterworth Music Festival, and our emphasis on whole-school participation following the pandemic. A special mention was given to the Arts Ambassadors, who have led sessions for KS1 and, was highlighted as a particular strength.

Mrs. Bidwell and Mrs. Dawes have significantly enriched our music programs, while Mrs. Cornish has brought vibrant creativity to our dance initiatives through our partnership with Inspire+. Our Arts Ambassadors have also been exceptional in supporting and promoting the arts."
