It was all about the elements this week at Colsterworth, as the whole school joined together to compete in their first house team event of the year! Dressed in the house colours, pupils from reception up to year 6 class worked together as one as they took on an exciting range of elements themed activities. From boat building in the water zone to parachute creating in the air zone, the children showed off their true Christian values of friendship, creativity and perseverance as they worked side by side to gain extra points for their house team. The highlight of the day came from an amazing Lego challenge, which saw the teams create their own full Lego village, including cafes, schools & churches, across the school hall. With the lights switched off, the children saw their buildings sparkle and glow as they added their own lights and switches. This day of fabulous fun was a huge success, allowing team work to flourish and creativity to flow.
