This week, Kitten Class designed and created their own boats. First, they thought carefully about the type of boat they wanted to make, deciding whether it would be a boat, a ship, or a cruise liner. They discussed the different features their boats might need, such as oars, sails, and propellers.
The children then drew their designs and thought about how they could bring their ideas to life. Using a variety of found and recycled resources, they carefully constructed their boats, showing creativity and problem-solving skills throughout the process.
The finished boats closely matched the children’s original designs. The children were very proud of their creations and enjoyed sharing and talking about their work with their classmates.
