Welcome to Leopards Class
Leopards is our Year 2 class. Our teacher is Miss Green. Mrs Dawes also helps us. You can find out about all the things we are doing this term by clicking on the links below.
Our Year 2 children are welcomed in via the playground gate and our Year 3 children enter through the bike gate at the front of the school between 8:45 and 8:55am.
Lunch - we can choose to have packed or cooked lunches but this year most of us are enjoying the tasty new free meals for all children under 7. We eat these together in the hall at midday.
At the end of the day, our teacher and our classroom assistants make sure we go home safely. Mums, Dads and carers can collect us from the playground.
Here is our curriculum map for this year:
Creative Castles: Learning in Full Flourish!
The Leopard Class have been flourishing in their learning this term, showing great enthusiasm and motivation to be the very best they can be! As part of their choosing palette of choice, the children explored the fascinating world of medieval castles — discovering how they were built, what life was like inside, and why they were so important in the Middle Ages.
Bringing their knowledge to life, the children combined their creative flair with what they had learned in history to design and build an incredible range of 3D castle models. Each castle is unique, showcasing thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and a wonderful mix of imagination and craftsmanship.
From towering turrets to drawbridges and moats, the children’s creations truly have the WOW factor! What a fantastic way to see history, creativity, and teamwork come together in such a flourishing display of learning!
