Tigers Explore Science with Popplet!
This week in Tigers, children have been exploring new ways to share their understanding and ask questions using the iPad app Popplet. In their science lesson, the children created interactive mind maps to prepare for their exciting new topic, “What’s the Attraction?”, which focuses on fractions and magnetism.
Using Popplet allowed the children to organise their ideas visually, make connections between concepts, and collaborate with their peers. It’s a fantastic tool for encouraging curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking — and the children really enjoyed seeing their ideas come to life on the screen!
This innovative approach not only supports learning in science but also helps pupils develop digital skills, confidence in presenting ideas, and the ability to ask meaningful questions, setting them up for success across the curriculum.
