Lots of children across the school have been busy using their Art Smart skills to create some stunning entries for the annual Willoughby Open Art Competition in Corby Glen. From our youngest artists to our oldest, creativity has been flowing through a wonderful variety of media — including painting, clay, pastels, and sketching.
There have been so many highlights! Tiger Class took inspiration from their Ancient Egypt topic to produce some amazing Egyptian-themed artwork, while Leopard Class drew on their knowledge of medieval castles to create striking mixed-media compositions. Our After-School Kids’ Club have been experimenting with printing techniques to design beautiful seasonal pictures, and during Golden Time, some eager artists have found inspiration in The Lost Word book to produce truly enchanting pieces.
Well done, Team Colsterworth — you have most definitely shown that you have the Art WOW Factor!
