Leopard Class had a super start to the summer term with a special visit from children’s author Lucy Brandt, best known for her Secret Inventor series. Lucy shared fascinating insights into her creative process — from how she develops characters and dreams up exciting inventions, to crafting gripping adventures where villains try to steal the hero’s ideas!
The children were captivated as Lucy spoke about what inspires her stories and how she carefully plans each plot. Her visit sparked curiosity, creativity, and a real buzz for storytelling across the class.
It was a wonderful opportunity to learn from a real-life author and celebrate the joy of reading and writing — the perfect launch for our Creative Champions topic!
