Harvest Donations for Grantham Foodbank

As part of our annual Harvest Festival celebrations, our school community came together to support the Grantham Foodbank with generous donations of food and essential items. Over the past few weeks, pupils, parents and staff have contributed a wide range of non-perishable goods, including tinned vegetables, pasta, rice, cereals, and toiletries. . It was a beautiful service full of respect and reverence, as we gave thanks for the abundance in our lives and reflected on the importance of helping others. Our Year 6 pupils led the service with beautiful readings, and the singing from all our children filled the church with warmth and joy. It was truly a moment that reflected our school’s spirit of togetherness and gratitude.

These donations will go directly to local families in need, helping to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry during the colder months.

Representatives from the Grantham Foodbank will collect the donations from the church. These contributions make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families facing difficult times. A heartfelt thank you to all families for your generous offerings — they will make a real difference to many lives within our community.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils for their compassion and community spirit. Thank you again to everyone who donated and helped make this year’s Harvest collection a success.
