WOWs of the Week

Each week we will share a selection of the wonderful learning our children have enjoyed completing, either at home or school. As always, our children continue to make us proud and truly show their God Given Talents.
Week beginning 1st June 2020

Our Y6 pupils in school went on a minibeast hunt and chose their favourite invertebrate to create a project on for the Great Bug Hunt 2020. They also made bird feeders and hung them on the school field.

Hand washing characters
Our Year 1 pupils in  school coloured in the characters from the handwashing story. We use the story every day to remind ourselves of why it is important to keep washing our hands.
Week beginning 8th June 2020

Year 6 classified invertebrates in Science and drew a fantasy world that they then described in their writing.

Week beginning 15th June 2020
Year 6 classified flowering and non-flowering plants using a paired statement key. They also created prayer squares by weaving prayer ribbons together.
Mills' home learning invisibility potion
Week beginning 22nd June 2020
Year 6 created some gorgeous stay safe charters  for the classroom to remind them of the new rules.
Week beginning 6th July 2020

Last week Year 6 had a Danish Longball tournament, where James was the star player as he was in both winning teams.

In science, they investigated the melting points of different chocolates and Samantha managed to create chocolate with three different layers!

Yummy!
Week beginning 13th June 2020

This is Cameron's beautiful poster from last week as the Year 6 children have been thinking about the transition to Year 7. Cameron made a poster to remind us that we learn from our mistakes, which will be important for our Year 6's to remember as they move on to their next chapter.
